When things go bad virtually they're harder to remedy virtually. This is very true of things like email and Slack, feedback can be misconstrued, and our email tone isn't necessarily always, as human beings, reflective as our spoken tone. If I deliver something to you with a smile, but I write it, it might come across very differently.
If things do get difficult, and the narrative changes, and we're trying to remedy, as much video call contact as we possibly can have, will always make the situation a little bit better. Because when you get into that back-and-forth, you said this, he said, she said, kind of conversation, that's when it gets really tough, and I would say that happens a lot quicker virtually than it does in person.
