Wordmark
A wordmark or logotype is a text-only typographic treatment of a brand name. e.g. FedEx, Amazon, Netflix
Monogram
A monogram is a logo created by combining two or more letterforms. e.g. Chanel, Louis Vuitton, New York Yankees
