Now that we're a few months in, we've found a really great rhythm where if there's ever anyone I need to talk to, anyone on my team, I can send them a Slack and say "hey do you have a chance to chat about this?". I think every time that's happened whether I've done it to someone else or a team member has done that to me, within 10 minutes it's just worked out really well to say "yeah give me a call" or "actually I'm just wrapping up this project and then we can chat".
I think what's nice about doing that versus being in the office, is that I feel like I have more power to say "I want to wrap up this email or this project that I'm working on, can I call you in five minutes when I'm done with this?" Whereas if someone comes over to your desk and says "hey I need your help with something" you feel more like you have to stop right then and there and you almost lose that train of thought. Whereas with this I think you can control it a little bit more and say, I'm going to finish my train of thought and then I'm going to get back to you.
