Insights / Creatives in Lockdown
Now more than ever it's important to consider the morality of design, the ethics of what we do, and the impact that design thinking can have.
Sometimes that's building a feature that saves lives by keeping people at home and sometimes that's choosing the right photo that communicates respectfully. If you're picking a photo, if you're wanting to represent community, don't show empty streets, instead show close cropped neighbourhood shots of suburbs, or comfortable spaces. If you're showing people in a car, don't have two to three people in the back seat, that's inappropriate. All these new things that we would not have previously thought to include in a guidebook.
