Experimental: Colour Search on Niice

I don’t know about you, but I find colour hard. It can make or break a design far more than typography, but while I know a good palette when I see it, when it comes to creating one I’m still very dependent on tools like Adobe Kuler and looking at other designers’ work.

So we’re trying something slightly different with colour search on Niice. While you can search for a single colour (e.g. ‘#bada55’) like you would elsewhere, you can also search for multiple colours (e.g. ‘#f00 #000’), and Niice will return items that are using a similar palette.

It’s still experimental while we work on a more visual UI (though the text version will remain), but we’d love you to take it for a spin and let us know if you find it useful or not!

And yes, it’s spelt with a ‘u’.
